On behalf of Busch Entertainment Corporation, and specifically Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, we would like to present you with a token of our appreciation for your efforts in the successful opening of SheiKra. Your company was instrumental in erecting the first dive coaster in the United States.
Your team did a great job. It was a pleasure working with you and hopefully we can work together in the future.
- Daniel B. Brown, Busch Gardens
We are writing in response to your performance at one of our switch facilities. As usual Superior Rigging made a very difficult installation in an existing facility successful for both Turner Construction and Verizon Wireless.
The protection and installation plan successfully negated the high-risk exposure on damaging the Owner’s equipment. You succeeded in performing a flawlessly yet difficult schedule with high risk.
Once again, thank you for your professional and devotion to making every project a success.
- Equata James, Turner Corporation Company
It is our pleasure to share with you and your staff the recognition our team has recently received for the Delta lobby renovation project. Thanks, in large part to the work of Superior Rigging & Erecting, New South Construction has been honored with several industry awards in acknowledgement of outstanding performance on such a challenging project. These include the 2007 First Place AGC – Build Georgia Award, the Southeast Construction – Best Transportation Building of 2007, and the CMAA’s 2008 Best Building Renovation over $20 Million.
Everyone at New South Construction takes great pride in winning awards such as these, and in the continuing success they symbolize. However, this success would not be possible without the diligent efforts of team members like Superior Rigging & Erecting. There are no words to express our appreciation to your firm in making our job easier and these awards possible. Thank you again, and we look forward to working with your company on future projects.
- Thomas N. Troutman, New South Construction Company, Inc.
Thank you for providing such excellent service to the High Museum during the many fall exhibition changes in September. Superior removed and packed two oversized sculptures for the Louvre exhibition and installed four sculptures and the Sforza Horse for our Leonardo da Vinci exhibition.
David, thank you for your extensive planning and coordination, which began many months ago. It is always fulfilling to see these projects through to fruition.
I would also like to acknowledge the tremendous project management of Thomas Hutcherson as foreman for all the jobs. He juggled Superior’s crews, international lenders, media and the hovering museum staff while maintaining a good attitude and respect for everyone. Thomas’ good leadership kept everything running smoothly and on schedule even with the occasional challenge due to our facility or the weather. We’ll welcome him back in February/March 2010 when we deinstall the sculptures and horse.
Patrick, we greatly appreciate the in-kind sponsorship of our Sforza Horse on the piazza Your generosity makes these projects possible during such a challenging economic period and the horse has received terrific audience response. It is quite a site!
The High is pleased to have a positive relationship with Superior and I hope this continues well into the future. Thank you again for your support.

Early on Monday morning, September 21, is started raining in Carrollton. It rained hard for several hours; eventually building up to the worse local flooding anyone could remember. Southwire was hit hard at our two largest plants, resulting in significant down time and extensive cost.
Luckily, through the hard work by many Southwire employees we are now back to work, producing product for our customers. Despite the inconvenience, anxiety, frustrations and fear this event caused, there were several things to celebrate:
However, we would not have been able to overcome this hardship so quickly without the cooperation and performance from Superior Rigging & Erecting Company and our other strategic suppliers to Southwire. No doubt, these are the times when the true value of our supplier relationships is revealed. During this time of crisis, you came through for us, and on behalf of our entire team at Southwire, we want to say THANK YOU!
As you know, 2009 has been a challenging year for Southwire in terms of business volume. You have felt this impact as well. But, we are confident our business volumes will return, maybe not as soon as we prefer, but they will return. So, in the meantime, we look forward to working with Superior Rigging & Erecting Company and building our relationship even further.
- Jeff Herrin, Southwire
